The octaves are analog so the octave up is distorted at all times. Received in a trade and its super fun to play but just not for me. The EHX Bass Micro Synthesizer is a pure bass guitar synthesizer with all analog circuitry. The pedal is all analog so it sounds very natural and has a great sweep in the filters, but you cant adjust them on the fly or save presets.
